Steamworks

Where: by the Waterfront station
Type of food: Grilled meats, burgers, salads, soups... Beer (there's also a coffee shop beside the restaurant, with great sandwiches)
What I had: Beer soup, apple peach crumble pie with cinnamon ice cream (shared) and a capuccino.
What I thought of it: Quite good, specially the ice cream.
Service: Good looking funny waiter.
The place: Very cozy. We sat by a bookshelf which gave it a very nice ambiance. They have washrooms with a view.
I paid: 13 CAD incl. tip & tax.
Was it worth it: I guess so.
Wii I go back: Probably.

The Reef

Address: 4172 Main St.

Type of food: Caribbean

What I had: Chicken Jerk

What I thought of the food: Sounded better on the menu than it was in reality. I'd heard from other people what a great place this was, but I wasn't overly impressed.

The Place: Nice themed atmosphere, though the music was a little loud.

The Service: Decent.

What I paid: I don't remember exactly. Around $20.

Was it worth it?: Should've been a little less expensive.

Will I go back?: Doubtfully.
